Why Not? Hoops returns this August for another high-energy summer basketball camp, in collaboration with local club Sligo All Stars.

Taking place from Monday to Wednesday, August 18–20, 2025, at Mercy College, Sligo, this elite camp will be led by Puff Summers and Laura Mullally—two well-known names in Irish basketball development. The initiative marks another exciting partnership between Why Not? Hoops, Shooting Hoops Academy, and the Sligo All Stars, who are proudly celebrating their 60th anniversary this year.

The camp is split into two sessions to cater to different age groups:
 🏀 Ages 8–13 will train from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
🏀 Ages 14+ will take to the court from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Known for its upbeat, inclusive, and skills-driven atmosphere, the Why Not? Hoops camp promises “elite vibes” for all attendees. Players will work on everything from fundamentals to advanced techniques, with a focus on confidence, teamwork, and game IQ. All campers are asked to bring their own basketball, and camp fees include a free t-shirt.
