Dear Clubs, 

Sligo Sport and Recreation will host a ‘Safeguarding 1 Basic Awareness course onMonday 17th June next, 6.30-6.30pm via Zoom. This 3-hour course certified by Sport Ireland aims to effectively educate participants on the implementation of best practice in protecting the welfare of children involved in sport. This training is aimed at all coaches, parents, volunteers etc involved in sport for young people.
NOTE: PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO COMPLETE THIS COURSE.Places are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis and registration is via the Eventbrite link below:
